Aimee has a B.S. in Organizational Management from Ashford University and a M.S. in Sports and Health Sciences from American Public University. She has been teaching all modalities of group exercise and has been a personal trainer/Nutrition Coach for over 34 years.
Aimee began her Fitness journey in 1987 after being injured as a college runner. Her passion for all types of group exercise took off to bring her where she is today. Her passion is to help people of all ages and wide range of goals.
She has helped people, not only have more energy, better athletic performance but over health, including lowering cholesterol, blood pressure and reducing the use of certain medications.
Aimee holds certifications from Precision Nutrition, NASM (CPT,PES, CSC, Nutrition Coach) ACE (Health Coach and Orthopedic Specialist), Cancer Exercise Specialist, Parkinson’s and Muscular Sclerosis Exercise Specialist, AFAA Group Exercise, Kickboxing, Aquacise, Pilates Mat and Apparatus, Spinning, Resist-A-Ball, Tabata Boot Camp, Lebert Fitness (all modalities) and Zumba, Tai Chi, RUMBLe and RIPPED.
She completed her 200 and 500 hour Yoga Alliance Certification through YogaFit and holds her E-RYT 200 and E-RYT 500. Ayurveda Consultant and a Senior Master Trainer for YogaFit Training Systems Worldwide. She is also the author of the instructor-training manual, YogaFit TaiChiFit and FusionFit.
When not training, Aimee owns her own fitness studio, Berkshire Fitness and Wellness, in Pittsfield, Ma, teaching various fitness classes, coaching and an Adjunct at Berkshire Community College, teaching nutrition courses. She also enjoys spending time with her four – legged children (all 6 of them!)
